Day 01 · Amman
- Day 01
Arrive in Amman
Meet at Queen Alia airport and transfer into the city. An easy walk through downtown and the Roman theatre, then a group dinner.
Dinner included. Most flights land in the late evening.
- Day 02
Amman to the Dead Sea
Morning at the Citadel and the Jordan Museum, then down to the lowest point on earth. Float, mud up and watch the sun drop behind the hills.
Float only where the resort marks the entry; the salt stings open cuts.
- Day 03
Dead Sea to Petra
South along the King's Highway with a stop at the Wadi Mujib viewpoint, then on to Wadi Musa. The evening is free before an early start.
About four hours on the road, with breaks.
- Day 04
Petra, the full day
In early through the Siq for the Treasury before the crowds, then the Royal Tombs and, for those who want it, the climb to the Monastery.
Around 8-10 km on foot, mostly in the open. Take a donkey only if you need one.
- Day 05
Petra to Wadi Rum
Little Petra in the morning, then east to Wadi Rum. A jeep into the desert for sunset, then dinner and the night at a Bedouin camp.
Nights are cold in March and October; bring a warm layer.
- Day 06
Wadi Rum to Aqaba
Sunrise over the dunes, then south to the Red Sea. An afternoon to snorkel or swim, then a seafood dinner by the water.
The Red Sea reef is shallow and close to the shore.
- Day 07
Aqaba and departure
A slow morning on the corniche, then transfer to King Hussein airport for onward flights.
Aqaba airport is small; check in two hours before.
